At our facility, we process over 100 tonnes of PVC every year, transforming it into high-quality tubing and custom profiles. Thanks to its adaptability and performance, PVC remains our most popular and versatile tube material, used across countless industries and applications.
What Makes PVC So Versatile?
PVC, or polyvinyl chloride, comes in two primary forms: rigid (uPVC) and flexible. In its natural state, PVC is rigid, but with the addition of plasticisers, it becomes flexible and ideal for tubing and specialist profiles. This flexibility is what makes it such a go-to material for many of our clients, both in the UK and internationally.
We manufacture a wide range of standard PVC tubes that are available to purchase directly from our website. However, we also offer bespoke tubing and profiles tailored to meet specific customer needs. These custom solutions are produced for use in everything from industrial settings to laboratory environments.
Tailored for Every Application
We work with a variety of PVC grades, each suited to different applications:
- 97 Shore ‘A’ Tough Industrial PVC: Ideal for heavy-duty use, this grade is often used in skid spacers to help centre prefabricated pile cages.
- 74 Shore ‘A’ PVC: One of our most widely used grades. It’s commonly found in products like game bird feeders and toilet cisterns. Although classed as industrial, it is also food safe.
- 61 Shore ‘A’ Laboratory Grade PVC: Perfect for labs and life sciences, including peristaltic pump applications.
Importantly, all of our PVC materials are free from phthalates and do not contain DEHP plasticisers, ensuring safety across various environments.
Everyday Use, Exceptional Benefits
PVC tubing is likely already in your home, used in household appliances, plumbing, and more. Its popularity comes down to several key advantages:
- Affordable compared to alternatives like polyurethane or nylon
- Easy to work with and modify
- Available in clear or coloured options
- Highly durable and resistant to corrosion and many chemicals
- Excellent clarity in transparent forms, ideal for fluid transfer
Whether you're tackling a large-scale industrial project or looking for safe tubing for a lab or food-grade use, PVC tubing is a smart, cost-effective choice that delivers on performance and reliability. Visit our website to learn more.
